Hip Hop teen (HHt) Magazine, a venture geared toward teen publication and success, was started on March 3, 2005. Following the motto of "The Voice of Urban America," HHt plans to be a prime resource for young writers across the world.

The fact is that stereotypes have and continue to exist within our society. This is why we have founded this idea and premise. Many urban teens are often looked upon as creatively challenged in writing. For teens who want to suceed in a writing career through creative writing and journalism, thick skin and confidence are a necessity.

Every day, we offer students and teenagers the opportunity to publish their creative work and opinions on the issues that affect their lives- everything from love and family to teen smoking and community service. We at HHt try to help students and teenagers build their confidence by displaying their personal works. This makes HHt a training ground for future experienced writers.

What you need to do: Enjoy yourself, and have fun as we continue to develop our website and what will be one of the most informative magazines for teens! Feel free to comment and give us your valuable opinions and feedback on our Bulletin Board.
